Help & FAQ
1. Get your Stocky API key
- Open Stocky from inside your Shopify admin.
- Go to Preferences → API Access.
- If you don't see that option, it's not enabled on your account yet — contact Shopify Support and ask them to turn on Stocky API access. This step is the main source of delay; ask early if you're close to the Aug 31 deadline.
- Copy your store address (
yourstore.myshopify.com) and the API key — you'll paste both into the extension.
2. Install the extension
InvoRescue isn't in the Chrome Web Store yet (review can take longer than the time we have before Stocky closes), so for now it's installed manually:
- Download the extension zip from your purchase confirmation email and unzip it.
- Open
chrome://extensionsin Chrome. - Turn on Developer mode (top-right toggle).
- Click Load unpacked and select the unzipped folder.
- Pin the InvoRescue icon to your toolbar so it's easy to find.
3. Getting unlocked after you pay
If you clicked "Unlock" from inside the extension, it already knows your store address — checkout carries that through, so the extension usually unlocks itself automatically the next time you open it after paying. No key to find or paste.
If it doesn't (e.g. you bought from a different browser/computer than the one with the extension installed), you can still enter your key by hand — it's not entered on this website, only inside the extension itself:
- Find your key: it's on the payment confirmation page right after checkout, and also emailed to you.
- Click the InvoRescue icon in your Chrome toolbar.
- Click "Already purchased? Enter your license key" (or right-click the icon → Options → the License tab).
- Paste the key and click Verify.
4. Checking for updates
Because it's not installed from the Chrome Web Store, InvoRescue won't update itself automatically. If Stocky changes its page layout, the extension may need a small fix to keep reading supplier notes correctly — if that happens, we'll email everyone who purchased with a new zip and instructions to reload it (repeat step 2 with the new folder).
5. Running into a problem?
Email support@ailaile.tech — we reply within a day. Include a screenshot of what you're seeing if you can.
6. Refund policy
If the extension fails to export your data and the manual-entry fallback in the options page can't fix it either, we'll refund you in full — no questions asked, within 14 days of purchase. Email support with your license key. See our Terms of Service for the full policy.
FAQ
Where do I enter my license key after paying? Usually nowhere — the extension detects a completed purchase on its own once you open it. If it doesn't, enter it in the extension's License tab (never on this website). See step 3 above.
Does my data go through your servers? No. Everything runs in your browser; the exported file is saved straight to your computer. See our privacy policy for the full picture.
Can I re-download my export later? You can re-run the export and rebuild the archive as many times as you like before Stocky shuts down — your license doesn't expire.
What if some suppliers fail to scrape automatically? The extension flags them and gives you a simple form to paste in their notes and reorder settings by hand — those get merged into your final export.
